altho my machine is named "stc-testX", I control it, and think it will 
be a stable environment. It can stay where it is for now.

Would you like me to set up a cron job, to run the metadata aggregator 
daily ?

That said, I'd like to use the existence of this pilot instance (and its 
non-production status) as an incentive for us to start a conversation 
about what would be required to move this functionality to IC .....
