Discussion of use cases and implementation experience integrating with Workday

I don't want to be too much of a curmudgeon. But, given the required 
effort and the very low value that campuses would get from having 
Workday in the IC metadata (see the recent thread discussing this), why 
do we want to invest much effort in strong-arming Workday ?
