Of course by "the federation" I also meant InCommon, obviously I don't
know as much about others. But I can gauge generally from list traffic and
the time it takes for a macports problem to get reported that Mac use is
pretty low.

Solaris use certainly wasn't as of a few years back, but may have tapered
some.
