I saw the note below on the statesystems constituent group list recently and thought it might be of interest. Ohio isn’t the only one working on this (Indiana was too at one time). I’ll forward the survey results when I receive them.

On another note, we have a first draft of the Symplicity case study, which I hope to send along to the list before our next call.

Ohio is preparing to issue an RFP for a statewide higher education portal.  The goal of the project is to develop a single place where Ohio students can find information from college access programs, scholarship databases, databases on Ohio college programs, career advising, etc.  Many states have implemented such systems through partnerships with XAP, http://www.xap.com.  I would like to learn about other vendors, or approaches, that you may have used to achieve a similar goal.
