InCommon Federation Discussions About Online Student Services

Let me mention that Ann and I were contacted recently by Bjørn Larsen 
<> of Students Only, which I guess is an 
offshoot of studentuniverse.com, and specializes in online enrollment 
verification.  I had some discussions with Bjørnand his staff maybe a 
year ago about how enrollment verification might work via Shib and 
InCommon.  We may be ready to get this going now.  He'll be coming to 
AACRAO tech.  Folks may have met him.

I'll also note guardedly that I've had discussions with a very well-known 
company that is interested in enrollment verification via federation, so 
this seems to me like an idea whose time may be at hand.  I'm curious 
about the registrar perspective on working with these companies.
