Folks:

Just a friendly reminder that if you are planing on adding your name and
institutional affiliation to the endorsement, please try and do so very soon.
The deadline that was mentioned has passed but we will not be discussing
until the call tomorrow (Friday).

Regards,
Mark

Subject: Endorsement signatures for alternate means proposal

AD Assurance List,

At the weekly AD assurance call on Friday, one of the action items was
closing out the endorsement for the Alternate Means proposal originated by
Ron Thielen of the University of Chicago.

The proposed alternate means is titled "Alternative Means for Satisfying
Requirements 4.2.5.1, 4.2.5.2, and 4.2.8.2.1 in Active Directory Domain
Services Environments" and is located ...

https://spaces.internet2.edu/display/InCAssurance/Alternative+Means+for+Satisfying+Requirements+4.2.5.1%2C+4.2.5.2%2C+and+4.2.8.2.1+in+Active+Directory+Domain+Services+Environments

At the bottom of the same page is the endorsement statement. The suggestion
is members self-identify their affiliation with the AD Assurance Working
Group and their endorsement. The more individuals and institutions, the
stronger the endorsement. However, this method also allows the flexibility to
opt out for those that may not have had time for this particular item or for
other reasons.

To allow the proposal and endorsement to be finalized at this weeks call, a
target has been set of Thursday (6/6/2013) at Noon EDT for "signatures" to be
added to the endorsement. If you wish to "sign", please go ahead and update
the wiki article with your name and affiliation.

If there are questions, concerns or troubles access, please share to the list
or contact me directly.

Regards,
Mark
