Hello,

You are receiving this email because you attended the 2018 TechEx meeting in Orlando.

We are looking for individuals interested in serving on the planning committee for the 2019 TechEx, which will be December 9-12, in New Orleans, Louisiana. This committee develops the overall Trust and Identity program track, which includes CAMP and Advance CAMP.

You will recall last year that the "CAMP" portion consisted of both proposal submissions from community members and the longer two-hour sessions. Last year's planning committee is the group that reviewed all of the proposals received from the community, and also developed the topics for those longer two-hour sessions that were also part of CAMP. Advance CAMP is an unconference (the agenda is set onsite) and needs very little up front planning. The program committee primarily determines the CAMP experience.

What is the commitment? The planning committee will begin meeting in April and will meet weekly for 2-3 months, as they develop the call for proposals, then review the submissions and make decisions on which to accept. At the same time, the committee will also evaluate whether to continue with the longer sessions or try something different.

Once proposals are accepted and the program is set, the committee meetings typically move to twice a month or so, to continue to resolve any other issues that arise.

If you have an interest in getting involved and contributing to the community in a very substantial way, please send an email by the end of the day Friday, March 22. Please email me () and Elaine Alejo ().

Thank you for considering this.
