Just wanted to add some clarity to the discussion:

We didn't have a lot of time to discuss this (Ops had an overfull
agenda today) and not all the relevant Ops staff were in the room but
those that were are supportive of WG efforts and want to hear more.

We did not have time to discuss the question posed at the top of this
thread (i.e., moving md.incommon.org to the cloud) so what follows is
my opinion only but I think messing with md.incommon.org is a bad
idea. It ain't broke, so let's not try to fix it.
