Hi Warren,

There seems to be an aligning of the stars here with the Quilt Pilots and the current discussion in Interfeds WG. If it's alright with you, I'd like to invite a little Quilt WG to attend the next Interfed Meeting and hear Tom's discussion of the manual metadata vetting. 

As background, the Regional Optical Networks/Members of the Quilt and InCommon are looking at ways to enable K12 to join. The RONs are very interested in service delivery and supporting InCommon is a natural fit. However, the current InCommon membership is too expensive and our processes don't scale to enable 20K school districts. 

In our discussions about scaling, the RONs may perform InCommon's RA processes for their scoped state institutions, including the manual vetting of metadata. They would like to hear more about what this entails today. 

Would it be okay with you if I invited these folks to the next call?
