Hello,

I'm writing to let you know about an upcoming release of the InCommon
Federation Manager software.  This software is InCommon's core customer
relationship management application for many of our services, and is
what we use to coordinate federation metadata submissions from InCommon
federation sites.

Next week, you should expect to hear more detailed information about the
release.  In short, the work is entirely InCommon staff-facing, so you
won't see any changes in the way you use the application.  Future
releases will address user experience in customer-facing portions of the
app.  In the meantime, I wanted to make you aware of the change, and
share a wiki space that we are using to publish information about our
software development efforts for the federation manager:

On that page, you'll find:

- A roadmap for this year's software development efforts, including work
on InCommon's continuous integration pipeline
- A glossary used by the developers to help them understand the business
processes involved
- A functional process diagram, also used by the developers to gain
understanding of the processes
