Just following up with some additional information. The Federation Manager 
(service1.internet2.edu) will be down for routine maintenance on Saturday, 
December 29, 2012 from 8:00am to 8:00pm ET. All other InCommon services 
(including the DS, the EHS, and the metadata service) will remain operational 
24x7.

As a friendly reminder, we will sign metadata ONCE during the holiday period, 
as noted below. You can submit metadata at any time up to and including 
Thursday, December 27, 2012. If it is approved, your metadata will be signed 
on December 27 @ ~2:30pm ET. The next signing will occur on Wednesday, 
January 2, 2012.

Thursday, Dec 27, 2012 @ approximately 2:30pm ET.

The InCommon Discovery Service, [1] the InCommon Federated Error Handling 
Service, [2] and the InCommon metadata service [3] will remain operational 
24x7.
