Kent,

Interesting points.

I'd like to add a couple of opportunities that may help shed light on two of
your items:

At Educause two weeks ago, Nicole Harris, JISC's Federated Services Manager,
offered to help us connect the InC-Library group with theirs in the UK.
As you know, they've done some interesting studies on the content provider
useability experience and have recommendations in this space. Starting a
dialog with them would help ensure the practice set is spot on
internationally.

There's a discussion going on between REFeds and MACE-Dir about updates to
eduPerson. If you'd like to follow that thread, subscription information can
be found at http://middleware.internet2.edu/dir/. For those of you new to
this space, MACE-Dir is the group that developed the schema.

Best,
Ann
