Important Now

At Office Hours this week, we will be hearing a deep dive from the University of New Brunswick, and will explore our first alumni case study from Southern Methodist University. Both will be looking forward to your feedback, questions, and insights, so we hope to see you there!

What you should be thinking about right now:

• WORKBENCH: Your workbench server is available for your use. The server names were shared with your team’s CSP lead. Resources and the recording from the office hours presentation about the workbench can be found in Canvas.

• ON DEMAND RESOURCES: There are lots of resources that are available to you. We have made a list of several in the “Useful Links” section below.

• DEEP DIVES: Each institution will be doing a “deep dive” presentation about their CSP project. See when you are presenting. Presentation tips are in Canvas.

Dec 5-9 - TechEx | CAMP Week (Denver, CO) - If you are going in person to TechEx Dec 5-9 in Denver, CO, please check with your institution’s CSP lead about the 2 limited registration codes/institution. We will arrange a social hour to meet each other in person.

Dec 8 - CAMP Week (No Office Hours)

Dec 15 17 - Office Hours + LAB (90 min) (12:30 ET | 12:00 PT) - We will be hearing our next Deep Dives with WCU and U of Virginia.

Dec 22 - Office Hours  (60 min) (12:30 ET | 12:00 PT) - We will be hearing our next Deep Dives with UMass-Amherst. We will spend the last 15 min of this session reviewing the expected office hours topics for after the 1st of the year.

Next Leads Meeting: Wed, Nov 16

We have two topics for this meeting

• Exec Session: We will be joined by Steve Zoppi at the start of our meeting as we follow up on our discussion about the CIO/Executive sessions planned for January.

• Topics for Winter: Deep dives are halfway done - are you getting what you need from the program? Time to start gathering a list of what cohort-generated topics we should cover in the second half of the program. As a thought starter, here are a few that have come up over the past several weeks:

• Zero Trust

• Passwordless Authentication

• Self-sovereign Identities

• Person and Digital Identity (DEI, gender, name change, etc)

• Lifecycle Management

• Identity Governance
