Dear Colleagues,

I’m excited to announce that the deliverables from the ‘Streamlining Service Provider Onboarding’ working group are ready for community review.

The working group has produced a criteria document and a self-assessment questionnaire to help guide Service Providers along their path to becoming operational and interoperable members of the InCommon Federation.  Given there are many common pitfalls for onboarding Service Providers, we’re anxious to hear from the broader community on whether the working group deliverables are hitting the mark and aligning with the needs of both Service Providers and their integration partners (federated institutions/Identity Providers).

The working group has also compiled a report to summarize our recommendations, and in particular, where the criteria and questionnaire documents fit in.  We invite you to review the report and provide feedback.  We appreciate your response by May 28th, 2018.
