Just a bit more detail.

 

We catalog and assign a document id for all our working group reports when they are ready to be reviewed by the community. It’s not a policy statement but a set of recommendations from your working group. We then take the final report and ask InCommon Steering Committee review and accept it. The document then gets added into our intake of possible projects/work and we develop a response to it. By adding it to the document repository, we are registering the recommendation.  

 

Does that make sense?

From the description, it sounds like we should get an ID.

 

 

Personally, I would say no. We are providing some recommendations, not setting actual policy.

 

These are just my thoughts, but anyone else wish to chime in?
