Hi All,

Thank you for attending the discussion on the entropy calculator. It shed a lot of light on its use.

I had some questions about it and would really appreciate it if I could get the general sentiment on this:

1. It is my understanding that the excel-based password entropy calculator tool is doing the math right. In an effort to determine if this tool would be good for the general community (especially anyone applying for a profile in the future), Is this a tool we want to "formalize", publish and maintain?

2. Is there a need and/or desire for a web based GUI front end to the tool? Is the current excel-based version good and convenient enough to be continued in its current form for a wider audience?

I wasn't sure if we reached a concensus on these issues. Any thoughts are welcome.
