I’ve put a draft version of a “cookbook” that a bunch of CIC (Big 10 + The University of Chicago) schools and some other schools (University of Washington, University of Florida, University of Texas Austin) have been putting together, with help from Microsoft.  We are trying to find our way toward being able to support Silver assertions in a widely deployed academic Active Directory environment.  We think it’s time to start sharing this work with the wider InCommon assurance community.  Our hope is that anyone interested in collaborating with us on this will help to add content to, shape and refine the cookbook.  If you’re interested in this effort, please let me know.

 

Again, this is a draft.  Please don’t start making changes to your school’s AD forest based on this document in its incubating state.  If you see any omissions, places for improvement, or inaccuracies, we’re especially interested in hearing about those.

 

Is this list the right venue for discussing modifications to this document, or would somewhere else be more appropriate?
