US Federations Discussion

Happy New Year everyone,

Our next call will be on January 20th at 4pm Eastern and will focus on issues 
related to supporting K-12 Federations.  This topic has come up on a number 
of our calls and there seems to be definite interest in including K-12 in 
overall federation efforts in  many states.  We would like to gauge the level 
of overall interest and explore what sort of effort we might put into a 
collaborative focus in this area.  Mark Scheible from NCState will be leading 
a discussion focused on challenges faced by K-12 organizations and will touch 
on a variety of topics including: federation membership for K-12 in InCommon; 
the growing number of K12 Service Providers; what K-12 attributes are needed; 
how to insure LoA for K-12; do we need a K-12 Federation CAMP effort?
