Welcome to the Internet2 Global Summit. Since you indicated an interest in Trust and Identity when you registered, I wanted to let you know about the TIER (Trust and Identity in Education and Research) software demos that will take place Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday this week. 

 

The demos will be in Congressional C beginning Monday morning at 9 am.

The topics include:

 

Provisioning/De-Provisioning - How the grouping and authorization principles in the TIER Grouper Deployment Guide can be used to provide role-based access control and automated provisioning and de-provisioning to commercial and cloud applications. 

 

TIERbeacon - Reporting data that will provide insights into the deployment and adoption of the TIER components (Shibboleth, Grouper, and COmanage)

 

Internet2 COmanage - A demonstration of Internet2's implementation of COmanage to enable a self-service interface for Working Group chairs.

 

Consent - See Duke University’s latest pre-production version of Consent-informed Attribute Release (CAR), which will be included as an optional component in TIER packages, allowing users to manage the release of their own information.
