All,

I’m pleased to welcome Kyrgyz Republic / KIF as the 70th member of eduGAIN.

The voting deadline of 16th October passed with the result overwhelmingly in the affirmative.

The OT will to make the necessary arrangements to update the status page https://technical.edugain.org/status.php and liaise with the federation on supporting its participation in eduGAIN.

Additionally, the deputies + delegates from KRENA Identity Federation have been added to the eduGAIN-SG mailing list.

Thanks to the work of all Steering Group members in voting, assessing the federations and providing them feedback and the work of our newest member in working toward participating in eduGAIN.

The summary is:

 * 30 votes cast

 * 25 in the affirmative

 *   5 abstain

 *   2 federations (AFIRE and YETKIM) join the excluded list.

 *   1 federation (ARNaai) regains its right to vote.

 * 52 federations continue to be on the active voting list (-2excluded +1 regain +1new).
