Dear Working Group Members,
I wanted to send you a quick note to thank you all for your great work on the Per-Entity Metadata Working Group and the Final Report. It was very comprehensive and complete.
Ann and I presented a high-level overview of the Report to InCommon Steering Monday afternoon, and it seemed to be well received. A few questions were asked - more about how MDQ might be implemented (phased in, concurrent models) along with a cost question or two.
This presentation and discussion was more to acquaint Steering with the report, since they still need to select their own Chair before voting to approve the recommendations, however, I thought it was important to let you know that it seemed to go well and you should be hearing more soon.
