Hello,

In December 2016, researchers from 157 IdPs logged on to CILogon (an R&S SP) 
to access Globus, OOI, OSC, OSG, XSEDE, and other cyberinfrastructure. The 
full IdP list is published at <http://www.cilogon.org/stats>.

The top 5 IdPs with the most active users were FNAL, LIGO, OSU, NIH, and 
University of Michigan.

Researchers from the following 18 IdPs had access problems last month due to 
attributes missing from the R&S bundle: 
berkeley.edu duke.edu identityprovider.anl.gov idp.fnal.gov idp.lrz.de 
idp.pennkey.upenn.edu idp.utorauth.utoronto.ca idp2.unr.edu lmuidp.lrz.de 
login.ntua.gr muohio.edu ncsu.edu rutgers.edu shib.bu.edu shib2.utep.edu 
ucdavis.edu ucla.edu unmpidp.unm.edu

Users from 2 eduGAIN IdPs were blocked from obtaining IGTF certificates due 
to lack of R&S+Sirtfi support:
cardiff.ac.uk and helsinki.fi

9 IdPs now support both REFEDS R&S and Sirtfi:
bth.se cern.ch gla.ac.uk heanet.ie lu.se nikhef.nl osu.edu uchicago.edu uu.se

Many thanks to the IdP operators who have enabled federated access to CILogon 
by supporting scalable attribute release, REFEDS R&S, and Sirtfi!
