I am writing to let you know that the OIDC Survey email is going out to the InCommon lists shortly. Thank you all for your contribution to date. We will reconvene in January to review the survey responses and to prepare the workgroup report.

Dear colleagues,

 

With the growing popularity of mobile and web API-driven applications, we have seen a noticeable increase in campus-level activity exploring adopting Open ID Connect (OIDC) and OAuth protocols. The InCommon Technical Advisory Committee’s OIDC Survey Working Group is conducting a study to understand how InCommon and Internet2 may help the campuses in the adoption of these protocols. We are writing to ask for your participation. The results will play an important role in InCommon and Internet2’s near-term and long-term planning.
