Colleagues,

Just a quick update – the Doodle for the MFA Widely Deployed Tech WG didn’t identify a particularly good time to meet.  I’m going to start an email thread with the folks who responded to figure out our next steps so I don’t spam the full list.  I’ll let you know what we figure out.

Colleagues,

The time for the MFA Use Cases Working group has been assigned based on the Doodle poll for the following three times (all Eastern):

·         Tue 8/25/15 3:00 PM

·         Tue 9/1/15 3:00 PM

·         Tue 9/8/15 3:00 PM

I will secure a conference bridge and send the information to the list.

My apologies for those who have a conflict at this time, but it was one of the few choices that would work.  If you are interested in participating and were not able to complete the Doodle poll, you are still welcome to join us.

For the MFA Widely Deployed Tech WG, we have one colleagues who needs to update their information.  I will send the date/time for that meeting as soon as she has had a chance to update.

Colleagues,

Just a reminder about this – if you can please submit your interest/availability by 2p Eastern today, I would appreciate it.  I’ll announce the meeting times this afternoon.

Subject: Sign up for new sub-groups

Colleagues,

I am pleased to report that the AAC had accepted our proposed changes to the group charter.  The updated charter is accessible at https://spaces.internet2.edu/display/MIPWG/MFA+Interoperability+Profile+Working+Group+Home

As mentioned in our previous call, we will be spinning up two working groups to discuss deliverables #1 and #2 of the work.  Doodle polls for the groups are below; please choose a time for 3-week reoccurring meetings.  I would appreciate volunteers to coordinate these subgroups.  If you are interested, please email me directly.

·         MFA Use Cases Working Group: http://doodle.com/d47dcyxnemwvvnca

·         MFA Widely Deployed Technologies Working Group: http://doodle.com/4m6dpymuywzncnhe

As a reminder from our call, there will be a total of 4 subgroups over the life of the project and deliverables will be reported to the full group.  When we got started, several of you suggested that you would be interested in helping to review deliverables, but were not able to dedicate a lot of hands-on time, and that is perfectly fine.  Feel free to participate as much or as little as you are interested in able.

Additionally, next week we will be sending out a survey to gather information about the InC Assurance program.  I welcome your feedback on the survey, and if you believe that there is additional data we should be collecting, I encourage you to add questions.  You can view the survey at https://docs.google.com/document/d/15ccv_GgWd52Xw6db8PpxrYt0nrdcI0ygK8SIcuIgI34/edit?usp=sharing – however, please note that the survey is in “suggest edits” mode.  If you have not used this feature of Google Docs before, I suggest that you review this short overview: https://support.google.com/docs/answer/6033474?hl=en

Thanks!

Jacob
