Hello!
I propose we cancel the call today and instead meet in two weeks to view the
CommIT prototype being developed for the PESC meeting. In the interim though,
here's a general update:
We'll be talking all CommIT all the time next week at the PESC meeting in
Vancouver. I expect we'll get a lot of reaction, even from the limited set of
functionality. Stay tuned.
On another front, InCommon/EDUCAUSE had a call this week with DoEd FSA (Fin
Aid) about an InCommon interoperability pilot at the end of this year with a
possible service pilot next year. We have two institutions willing to
participate in this first limited pilot, but **if you are interested as well,
let me know.**
BTW, for those of you aware of Assurance requirements, FSA will require a
minimum of InCommon Silver Assurance (comparable to NIST level 2) for general
access and higher for staff/Fin Aid Officer access. Stay tuned on this as
well.
Best,
Ann
