Action Items

Paper.

Paper.
- Karen S will send the Issues Paper to another registrar list for 
feedback and forward the collected comments to this list.

Notes
--------
- Ann offered a program summary of the AACRAO IdM Workshop coming up in 
Baltimore (www.aacrao.org/identity). There are 77 current registrations 
and the meeting is capped at 80.

Vendors
- Andrea asked if there are others who would like to be included in a 
call with the Law Admissions Service. The potential service provider is 
interested in getting access to transcripts and Andrea and David Yeh are 
suggesting that federated identity model should be used. [AI] She will 
send out a note to the list about this.

- Andrea also asked about the outcome to the Dept of Ed Federated Pilot.

EDUCAUSE
- Ann asked for volunteers to present on federated identity and student 
services at the upcoming EDUCAUSE meeting in October. Karen Hanson may 
attend. [AI] Andrea will ask David Yeh. [AI] Ann will ask Tom Black and 
Ken Servis.

Issues Paper
- The group wordsmithed the Issues Paper "Some Things You Should Know 
about Identity Management" [AI] Karen H will send a quote to Ann for the 
back page and [AI] Renee/Karen S will do the same. The group also 
discussed Joanne Berg's article that she sent to the list before the 
call and decided to reference that on the back of the IdM Issues Paper. 
[AI] Joanne will contact the publication for a URL for the paper and 
send to Ann to include. Karen S suggested that the group send the Issues 
Paper to registrars who may not be very tech saavy and [AI] will do so 
with the next version (version 2).
