Yes, the hot, humid, hazy days of summer have settled in here.  And the
late afternoon thundershower seems to be a part of our daily lives as
well.

We are still very interested in leveraging the InCommon Federation and
Shibboleth for our Student Self-Service application.  We have two models
for schools to link to our site (passing student id), but they are
increasingly scrutinized by schools as the focus on security
intensifies.  We have not drilled too deep into the details yet, but we
do intend to.  Like every IT shop, we have too much work and not enough
people!

Doug,

I hope the weather in Virginia has been lovely and not to hot and muggy.
I know the DC area can feel like a community steam bath at times!

Just following up on our conversation this April regarding federated
identity, InCommon Federation, and the Shibboleth system. If I remember
correctly, NCS was going to investigate this a bit further, and I
thought I'd check to see if any questions have come up since our
meeting.
