In accordance with the community commitment and policy provisions outlined in the InCommon Federation

Operating Practices and Procedures (FOPP), we are notifying you of the following changes to FOPP:

On Monday, August 7, 2023, the InCommon Steering Committee approved the following amendments to FOPP:

The InCommon office address changed.
The US Department of Education's methodology for categorizing its national and regional accrediting
bodies changed, unifying these bodies into one set of accreditors, and necessitating an update in
recognition of this change.
We've removed mention of the InCommon Assurance program. The InCommon Assurance Program
was retired in 2021. It has been replaced by InCommon Baseline Expectations.
We've removed reference to a risk assessment written in 2004 by the original InCommon Steering
Committee That risk assessment is now obsolete.
