On Monday, November 25th, eight IdP entity descriptors contributed to eduGAIN/InCommon by MATE/Argentinian research and education federation will be dropped from InCommon due to the upstream feed expiring. It is possible that the Argentinian federation operators will bring their metadata into compliance with the revised eduGAIN SAML profile before their metadata expires. I wanted to let you know in case your organization interacts with any of these IdPs.

Hello,This is our last reminder that tomorrow, on November 19th we are planing to start
enforcing all rules required by the current eduGAIN SAML profile.
The validation rules are described on
https://wiki.geant.org/display/eduGAIN/Metadata+Aggregation+Practice+Statement
The non-compliant federation feeds will be rejected but the old cached
copy will still be used until its validity expires.
The transition is planed for 19.11.2019 10:00 CET, the first aggregation
will be done at 10:30
There will be also some minor updates to the technical site, namely the
the naming of the profile, using proper naming for eduGAIN members and
participants etc.
Please keep an eye at https://technical.edugain.org/profile_v2 for any
