On Friday, January 15, 2016, InCommon Operations will begin importing
eduGAIN metadata into the preview aggregate. At that time, the size of
the preview aggregate will spike to over 30MB. If you have metadata
processes that are currently consuming the preview aggregate, be aware
that certain deployments are known to have performance issues when
processing large metadata files. Take action now to Protect Against
Failed Metadata Processes. [1]

One month later, on February 15, 2016, the production aggregate will
be synced with the preview aggregate. We will also begin exporting
InCommon metadata to eduGAIN at that time. We strongly advise all IdP
operators and SP owners to start Getting Ready for eduGAIN [2] as soon
as possible.

Finally, we recommend that all deployers point their test deployments
at the preview aggregate. See the Metadata Aggregates [3] page for
more information.
