On Wednesday (2/4) the MD-RPI schema will be introduced into InCommon
metadata. Specifically, the following extension element will be added
to each and every entity descriptor in metadata:

<md:Extensions xmlns:mdrpi="urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:metadata:rpi">
  <mdrpi:RegistrationInfo registrationAuthority="https://incommon.org"/>
</md:Extensions>

To minimize the risk of breakage, the extension elements will be
introduced into the various metadata aggregates as follows:

1. preview aggregate: Wed, Feb 4
2. main aggregate: Wed, Feb 11
3. fallback aggregate: Web, Feb 18

Please mark your calendars! A courtesy reminder will be emailed on
each of the above dates.

If you have a test deployment (IdP or SP), by all means point it at
the preview aggregate and leave it that way indefinitely. For more
