You are receiving this message because you are a Site Administrator in
the InCommon Federation. This message is FYI only. There is nothing
further you need to do.

On Friday, June 20, 2014, InCommon Operations will copy the value of
the <md:OrganizationDisplayName> element to the <mdui:DisplayName>
element in all IdP entity descriptors that do not contain an
<mdui:DisplayName> element. There are 110 such IdP entity descriptors
in InCommon metadata. If you are a site administrator for one of those
110 IdPs, you will receive a notification when your metadata is
updated.

At the end of this operation, ALL IdPs will have an <mdui:DisplayName>
element in metadata. The <mdui:DisplayName> element is used on
discovery interfaces, but since the values of the
<md:OrganizationDisplayName> and <mdui:DisplayName> elements will be
in sync, the change will have no operational effect on your IdP or the
login experience of your users.

After Friday, ALL IdPs in the InCommon Federation will be REQUIRED to
have an <mdui:DisplayName> element in metadata. Eventually this field
will be editable by site administrators and vetted for reasonableness
by the InCommon RA, but in the meantime, if you want to change the
DisplayName of your IdP presented on discovery interfaces, please
