***EZProxy Beta***

The University of Chicago will participate in beta testing for EZProxy 5.1.

***Profiles and Project Updates***

Holly has posted a draft of an institutional profile and project update for the University of California-San Diego. Others are asked to complete their profiles and project updates by August 15. The working group members will then read/review the documents in preparation for a discussion during the next call on August 22. There is already a wiki page created for each institution. Links to the pages and instructions appear at:

The case studies are intended to provide information to those interested in Shibboleth, including the variety of approaches used by the campuses involved in this project. The concept is for interested parties to be able to find a campus that is similar to their’s and/or an approach that will fit their circumstances.

***OCLC***

(AI) (Steve Carmody) will contact Don Hamparian (OCLC) about joining a call in September or early October to discuss WorldCat and EZProxy.

***Project Updates***

The University of Chicago plans to roll out Shibboleth access for EBSCO and Science Direct this fall and is also working on RefWorks. On-campus access will continue to use IP addresses.

The University of Washington is implementing WorldCat Navigator in conjunction with the local WorldCat implementation and Shibboleth.

The University of California-San Diego continues planning or the planned implementation of Web VPN service.
