Hi Dave and all, yes, I can make the October 9th date/time
and would be glad to discuss what OCLC is doing WRT with Shibboleth.
Talk to you then,

Collaboration
Hi Don,
I just got off
of the phone with our InCommon library services collaboration group.
There is a lot of interest within our group in speaking with you.
As I mentioned before, Oct 9th, 1PM EDT is a scheduled call that our
group is available. If you would like to meet sooner, that would be great
too.
If you have
another time in mind that would work for you, can you send it back to this
list, or specifically Dean Woodbeck? I will be offline for a few days,
and don't want to hold up the process of scheduling a meeting.
Hope to talk to
you soon
Dave

Don, I am
personally out the week after the 18th. And then our group won't have
another open call until Oct 9th. If you would like to talk sooner than
that, maybe you could propose some times outside of our normal call schedule
and we could work from there?
Dave

Hello
Dave, can we go for the week after the 18th by any chance?

Don,
Thank you for requesting to talk with our group and allow us some input into
your planning. Can we have a conference call on Sep 18th, 1PM EDT?
Our group already has a scheduled call at that time and would be pleased
if you were available to join the call.
Thanks
Dave

Dave, we are implementing a new way to access licensed content currently
available via FirstSearch. It will be part of the worldcat.org service and more
specifically built on that technology platform (which is a different one then
First Search).
We aren’t planning to make this change for First Search. However, for the
worldcat.org-based platform, we are implementing a replacement Service Provider
facility. We are now just discussing this very topic – how to take
inbound attributes and map them to our list of institutions. If you don’t
mind, I’d like to discuss this with you in some more detail. Would you be
interested in a conference call within the next few weeks?
What we do know is the way we do this for First Search is not the way we want
to do it in our new facility :-).

We have a plan for WAYFless URLs we are discussing internally. I’d like to
discuss that with you during our conference call if that works for you.
