Greetings All.
My apologies for not sending the meeting notes out from our last meeting but
the set from Today will hopefully address all the same points that would
have been included.
On the call today we had Dean, Ann, Andy, Lynn, Steve and myself. For any
who couldn't make it, please feel free to contact me with any questions you
might have. I presently owe Tod and Paul an e-mail describing what we'd like
to see in the Bedtime story they will be working on for the group.
At present we have decided to focus on 4 primary categories of use cases:
EZProxy, ILS, Walk-in, and Multi-campus/Consortium. The members of the group
working on a bedtime story for each use case are as follows:
EZProxy: Steven Carmody (some touchups and additions to the present one
based on our conversation last month)
ILS: Thomas, Tim, and Mark
Walk-in: Tod and Paul
Multi-campus/Consortium: Lynn and Holly (of the UofCal Chancellor's Office)
Andy will be in the acting role of "uml scribe" working with each of the
mini-groups to provide a common look and feel to the diagrams that we need
to produce.
We discussed what roll multiple authentication systems may or may not play
in our use cases, specifically in the multi-campus example.
We would like to meet next week at 2pm EDT / 1pm CDT, pending everyone's
approval. If you can't make it please let us know and we can look into
alternative times/dates.
All in all, we are making some good progress and I think we should have a
lot to show at the next large group meeting. Please feel free to contact me
with any questions about meetings you may have missed or if you'd like to
help with one of the 4 mini-groups.
Thanks everyone!
Thomas.
