Hello everyone,

To recap from the call today, we just have a couple things left to wrap on the draft document before calling it "done".

We'd like to put it before the community for a final review to ensure it fairly represents the participants' needs.  Paul is going to check with Ann West to verify that our doing so will not get in the way of contract negotiations.  He and I will draft an email soliciting feedback to be sent to the InCommon Participants and cert-users mailing lists, and send it to this list for review this week.  The hope is to send out the message next Tuesday, May 3, assuming we get the OK from Ann and are able to finish up the last bits of polishing we want to do with the doc before unleashing it on the masses.

The plan is to clone the draft document into a new Google Doc, and make the clone commentable by anyone with the link.  The link will be included in the email soliciting feedback.  Our feedback deadline is currently Friday, May 20, which gives people a couple of weeks to review it.  We plan to send a reminder notice on Tuesday, May 17 in case it falls off folks' radars.

We may also send another email targeted directly at RAOs in the service, in case some miss the cert-users communication, since they represent the group most likely impacted by the report.

The draft is basically complete at this point.  I plan to finish expanding on the gap analysis descriptions, and we'll try to pull the graphs inline with the Survey Data section, or at least refer to "figure 1/question 7" from the text where appropriate.  I invite everyone to take another look at the doc and apply polish as needed.

Thanks again to everybody for your contributions and input on this document!  The finish line seems to be in sight...
