Welcome to the InCommon Certificate Service Review Working Group!

This working group will conduct a review of the current InCommon Certificate Service offering as well as gather and summarize input from the larger InCommon community to guide the development of the next generation of the service.

The first order of business will be to get together on a conference call to organize our efforts.  The basic agenda would be:

 - Welcome/introductions
 - Identify any potential additional participants
 - Review the charter
 - Introduce draft for a community survey
 - Address some immediate tactical issues:
    - Review proposed revisions to additional domain activation process
    - Problems from treating base and wildcard domains separately (e.g. umn.edu vs. *.umn.edu)
    - Identify any issues around offering a private CA option
 - Map out a timeline and schedule future meeting(s) or other collaborations

I've created a Doodle poll to see if we can find a good time to hold the initial call.  Please indicate times you are available so we can find something that will work for most people.  I'll send out a followup in a couple days if some candidate times have emerged.  While the poll lists blocks of two hours to keep the scheduling simpler, I'm hoping to keep the initial call to 1 to 1.5 hours.
