The InCommon Assurance Advisory Committee is pleased to announce that a period of consultation is open on the Processes to Implement and Maintain Baseline Expectations of InCommon Participants. This consultation opens today and will close at 5pm EST on Friday 18th August 2017. Information about the consultation, the proposed processes including Community Consensus and Dispute Resolution, and how to participate can be found at: https://spaces.internet2.edu/display/InCAssurance/Consultation+for+Baseline+Expectations+Implementation+and+Maintenance+Plan. 

The Assurance Advisory Committee has developed the proposed processes in order to support the Baseline Expectations for Trust in Federation, as approved by the InCommon Steering Committee in September of 2016. A webinar was held on June 7th, 2017, presenting the proposed processes, and the recording is available on the consultation page.

Comments can be added to the wiki and discussion on the InCommon Assurance list () is encouraged.
