InCommon announces an open call for nominees for one auditor representative 
to Assurance Advisory Committee, the group responsible for overseeing Bronze 
and Silver Profile certification and program development. 

The role of the AAC auditor representatives is to provide guidance on 
interpretation of the audit summaries and assess the IdP Operator's audit's 
credentials. The audit representatives provide additional leadership in 
identifying programmatic changes and support to help campus audit understand 
the requirements of and engage with IT on Assurance.  

Nominations of auditors from campuses actively pursuing or planning to pursue 
certification are welcome with the expectation that the individual will 
recuse herself/himself from AAC deliberations concerning her/his home 
institution application.

To nominate an individual, please send your recommendation to 

 by Monday, January 7, 2013. Please distribute this call to all interested 
parties.

DETAILS:

Voting Membership of the AAC is by appointment of the InCommon Steering 
Committee and serve two-year terms. Membership comprises stakeholders in the 
assurance process including identity providers, service providers, auditors, 
InCommon, and representatives at large.
