Welcome to the Assurance List!

Below is an update on things going on in the InCommon Assurance space. 

So far we've:

- Spun up a small community group to develop the Assurance Review Panel charter and materials associated with certification.

- Begun analyzing several process workflows and the required infrastructure that InCommon needs to put in place like archiving of documents, approval requirements, metadata changes, etc.

- Will begin (this week) working with NIH on the details of practices and what's sent over the wire. 

- Started a skeleton wiki for community case studies and such at
https://spaces.internet2.edu/display/InCCollaborate/InCommon+Identity+Assurance. If you have items you'd like to see on that wiki, please send them to the list.

- Worked with FICAM on the final steps for the 1.0 spec. Once that's finished and InCommon moves from provisionally approved to approved trust provider, we'll submit the required doc to get the most recent version (1.1) certified.
