Shibboleth Training

Get first-hand experience with how to deploy the InCommon-ready Shibboleth Service and identity providers in a way that’s easy to install and manage.

 

Training Dates: December 4-8, 2023

What You’ll Learn:

• Deploy InCommon-ready Shibboleth Service and Identity Providers effortlessly.
• Modernize your development and operations with the DevOps approach.
• Explore the world of containers and simplify your professional life.

 

Opportunities to:

• Install prototype Shibboleth identity and service provider containers in our training environment.
• Gain hands-on experience with the Docker container version of the Shibboleth IdP and SP.
• Discuss software configuration and production deployment.
• Explore integration with other identity management components.

 

What to Expect:

• Virtual class blends self-paced learning in Canvas and synchronous office hours.
• Daily assignments with lab exercises and live office hours (2 – 4 p.m. ET).
• One-to-one support for students to discuss exercises with instructors.

Elevate your Grouper skills with our December training. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced user, this virtual class offers a comprehensive dive into Grouper's core features and the implementation of access control models outlined in the Grouper Deployment Guide.

• Pre-work: Access self-paced content in our LMS starting one week before live sessions. Set aside at least 16 hours.
