Dear colleagues,
In case you missed it, the 2023 Internet2 Community Exchange is happening May 8-11 in Atlanta, GA. If you still haven’t registered, there is still time before rates increase on March 31. https://www2.internet2.edu/l/66332/2023-03-07/n3ftmg
The 2023 Community Exchange has plenty to offer in terms of IAM expertise. Our community will be front and center at these sessions:
SPECIAL GUEST National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) CIO, Mike Tartakovsky, will offer the CIO perspective on federated cyber security and discuss the critical importance of practicing cybersecurity cooperation to protect research data. This is a follow up presentation to the Multi-factor
Unity: Federated HPC Cluster Operations The University of Massachusetts Amherst launched a new High-Performance Computing (HPC) cluster and operations model beginning in 2018 known as the Unity cluster. Speakers: Christopher Misra, University of Massachusetts Amherst and Ivana Golub, PSNC
Which Solution? Addressing HE Use Cases During InCommon’s Collaboration Success Program (CSP), a question often asked by participants is, “What approach, policies, tools, and workflows are others using to address the primary higher education use cases?” This session will place a spotlight on several key use cases and explore the general landscape of solutions.
As a bonus, Community Exchange brings together a diverse and broad set of people from the R&E community, including CIOs and campus leadership across multiple types of institutions, advanced technology administrators, and faculty, researchers, campus practitioners, and other academic leaders. The Community Exchange features multiple days of collaboration, workshops, tutorials, and inspiring keynotes. Explore the agenda here: https://www2.internet2.edu/l/66332/2023-03-21/n3g7sm We look forward to seeing you this May in Atlanta!
