Happy 2017! Shortly before the winter holidays, we sent out an invitation to participate in an OIDC/OAuth survey. Many of you have responded. Thank you! We appreciate your enthusiasm and valuable input.

Dear colleagues,

 

With the growing popularity of mobile and web API-driven applications, we have seen a noticeable increase in campus-level activity exploring adopting Open ID Connect (OIDC) and OAuth protocols. The InCommon Technical Advisory Committee’s OIDC Survey Working Group is conducting a study to understand how InCommon and Internet2 may help the campuses in the adoption of these protocols. We are writing to ask for your participation. The results will play an important role in InCommon and Internet2’s near-term and long-term planning.
