Video Summarizes Trust and Identity Framework
A new video is available that provides a high-level overview of trust and identity (including InCommon), and was designed to help participants quickly introduce such concepts as federated identity to colleagues, other stakeholders, and potential partners. Please use it liberally and let us know the feedback you receive.

Research & Scholarship Category
Six Service Providers were added to the Research and Scholarship (R&S) Entity Category during November. There are now 93 InCommon Service Providers in the international REFEDS R&S category and 45 InCommon Identity Providers have declared that they release the appropriate attribute set to the category (see the lists here). An additional 86 IdPs release R&S attributes to InCommon SPs only. New InCommon Participants
As of December 5, 2016, InCommon has 899 participants taking advantage of one or more InCommon services. InCommon welcomed these organizations during November: Higher Ed Appalachian State University Baptist Health System School of Health Professions Ohlone Community College District Union College University of Southern Mississippi Sponsored Partner Acadiem, Inc.
New InCommon Certificate Service Subscribers
As of November 3, 387 organizations subscribe to the InCommon Certificate Service, which provides unlimited certificates for all domains owned by a university at one annual fee. New subscribers during November included: Baptist Health System School of Health Professions Suffolk University University of Southern Mississippi
Duo Security Subscribers
As of November 3, 120 organizations subscribe to the Duo Security multifactor authentication service offered through InCommon. November's new subscriber: Swarthmore College
