Dates Announced for InCommon Shibboleth Installation Workshops |
|
InCommon has announced the dates for three of its Shibboleth Installation Workshops for 2015. The dates and location for a fourth workshop are pending. The workshops will focus on the new Shibboleth Identity Provider version 3, as well as provide
installation training for the Service Provider. Details are on the InCommon website. Dates and locations are:
- May 14-15, 2015 - George Washington University Virginia Science and Technology Campus (near Dulles Airport) (registration is open)
- June 11-12, 2015 - OARnet offices in Columbus, Ohio (registration opens April 7)
- September 17-18 - DeAnza Community College, Cupertino, California

Per-Entity Metadata Pilot to Continue; Alternative to Metadata Aggregates |

InCommon has extended the Per-Entity Metadata Pilot through the end of August 2015. The pilot was started to explore the utility of using dynamic metadata query to retrieve signed, per-entity metadata as an alternative to metadata aggregates. Details

Internet2 has appointed Florence D. Hudson as senior vice president and chief innovation officer (CINO) effective March 16. Hudson has more than 33 years in leadership positions at IBM including vice president and director in Corporate Strategy,
