IAM Online: Demystifying Privilege and Access Management

Join us August 8 at 3 pm (ET) for this IAM Online presentation by Chris Phillips, technical architect at the Canadian Access Federation (CANARIE) and member of the MACE-paccman (privilege and access management0 working group. He'll discuss paccman's series of recommendations for efficient and scalable privilege and access management.

Bring Your Own Token — Your Mobile Phone

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) seems inevitable, with the proliferation and market penetration of mobile devices. InCommon Operations Manager Tom Scavo looks at BYOD and "Bring Your Own Token," in relation to cloud-based, phone-based two-factor authentication.

SafeNet, Duo Programs Open for Business

Both of InCommon's multifactor programs (SafeNet tokens and smart cards, and Duo's phone-based solution) are available for purchase. Duo offers a site license for InCommon participants; SafeNet has several of its products available for bulk (minimum of 200) purchases.

Registration is open for the next Shibboleth installation workshop, which will be held on the University of Florida campus. Shib workshops provide installation and configuration training by experts, for both Linux and Windows platforms.

InCommon Affiliates

The InCommon Affiliate Program connects higher education institutions and their federating partners with commercial or non-profit organizations that provide software, content, guidance, support, and implementation and integration services related to participating in the federation.

InCommon now has seven afiiliates provide consulting, content, hosting, support, and training for the InCommon community.
