InCommon Launches New Research & Scholarship SP Category

InCommon is launching an innovative program—a new category of service providers called Research & Scholarship. This will allow identity providers to release a minimal common set of attributes to all service providers in the category, simplifying and streamlining user access and reducing administrative overhead. InCommon will host a webinar on Thursday, January 19, 2012, at 2 p.m. ET, to provide details.

New Certificate Service Subscribers

InCommon Certificate ServiceWelcome to new InCommon Certificate Service subscribers: Colby College, Georgia Tech, Joliet Junior College, Kansas State University, Samford University, Western State College of Colorado. There are 146 subscribers to the certificate service.

New Participants in December

We welcome these new participants to the InCommon community. As of the end of December, InCommon has 355 participants.
