Community Comment Open for Refined Identity Assurance Draft
InCommon has released drafts of refined versions of its key Identity Assurance documents and community comment on the drafts is now open. The two documents represent the foundation of the InCommon Identity Assurance program: The InCommon Identity Assurance Assessment Framework (IAAF) and the InCommon Identity Assurance Profiles (IAP), also known as InCommon Bronze and Silver. These public review drafts of v1.1 are available for comment now through 5 p.m. (ET) March 28, 2011. An overview and details are available on the InCommon wiki. https://spaces.internet2.edu/x/4SM.

Cert Service Reaches 92 Subscribers
Launched in August, the InCommon Certificate Service stands at 92 subscribers. During March, the service is scheduled to roll out extended validation (EV) certificates and client (personal) certificates. This community-driven service provides truly unlimited certificates for higher education, covering all domains owned by a subscriber. www.incommon.org/cert.

Federation Track at Internet2 Member Meeting – April 18-20, 2011
The Internet2 Spring Member Meeting (April 18-20) will feature both federation and middleware track sessions, as well as a number of related working group meetings. Details on the program, plus registration information, is available at http://events.internet2.edu/2011/spring-mm/

Day CAMP: Getting Started with InCommon – April 21, 2011 
InCommon has scheduled the next Day CAMP: Getting Started with InCommon, for Thursday, April 21, 2011, in Arlington, Virginia. The meeting will feature technical and management information for higher education institutions looking to run an identity provider to access federated services. The Day CAMP immediately follows the Internet2 Member Meeting, but has a separate registration (and attendance at the Member Meeting is not required). Advance CAMP: Identity Services Summit III – May 25-27, 2011 
Advance CAMP will take place May 25-27 in Westminster, Colo., and focus on better provisioning, access management and other identity-related problems. Participants will work with identity leaders and developers across higher education to help design the next generation architecture. Registration is now open at www.incommon.org/camp. Participants can come early and attend Jasig’s Spotlight on Open Source Conference (www.jasig.org/jasigs-spotlight-open-source) just prior to Advance CAMP at the same location.

InCommon CAMP: Hot Topics in Identity and Federated Identity Management – June 21-23, 2011
We’re putting the finishing touches on the hotel contract and other details for this year’s CAMP: Hot Topics in Identity and Federated Identity Management, scheduled for Columbus, Ohio. There will be two tracks – one for identity management in general, and one specifically for federated identity management. Details will be posted, as they are available, at www.incommon.org/camp.
