Six New Steering Committee Members
The InCommon Steering Committee is responsible for managing the business and affairs of InCommon, including oversight and recommendations on operation and management issues. InCommon welcomes six new members to Steering:

Affiliate Program Launched
InCommon has launched a pilot Affiliate Program to allow participants to connect with commercial or non-profit organizations that provide software, content, guidance, support, and implementation and integration services related to participating in the federation. Proceeds will provide funding for the federation’s ongoing programs, including outreach, collaboration activities, educational offerings, research and development, and technical operations. www.incommonfederation.org/affiliate/

First IAM Online Draws Crowd
More than 100 people attended the first IAM Online, a new monthly series offered by InCommon in cooperation with Internet2 and the EDUCAUSE Identity and Access Management Working Group. IAM Online delivers interactive education, including federated identity management essentials, advanced issues in IAM, and hot topics from the EDUCAUSE Identity and Access Management Working Group. The first session, an introduction to federated identity management, was held February 12. CAMP, Advance CAMP Registration Open
Registration has opened for CAMP (Campus Architecture and Middleware Planning) and Advance CAMP, both sponsored by InCommon in cooperation with Internet2 and other organizations. CAMP (June 21-23) will focus on exploring and supporting federated identity management, while the Advance CAMP (June 23-25) features the second identity services summit. Both will take place in Raleigh, North Carolina. www.incommon.org/camp

InCommon Online Forum Kicks Off
The InCommon Online Forum kicked off February 25 with a session with the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC). The monthly forum will include interactive sessions with the InCommon TAC, the InCommon Steering Committee and InCommon collaborative groups.
