---------------
Agenda

1. SAML 2 profiles/support

InCommon has added support for SAML 2.0 and continues to plan for additional features. This discussion will outline current InC support. Related to this, InCommon also encourages participants to upgrade to Shibboleth version 2.x. The Shibboleth Project has announced an end-of-life date of June 30, 2010, for version 1.3.x.

2. uApprove

SWITCH, the Swiss federation, has developed uApprove, a mechanism to inform a user (and allow the user to approve/disapprove) about the release of attributes to a Service Provider (SP). This provides a tool to implement data protection laws by requiring to obtain user consent before his/her personal attributes are released. This discussion will provide an update of the adoption of uApprove in the U.S.

3. Technical priorities

The InCommon TAC maintains a list of technical issues and priorities for the InCommon Federation. This discussion will provide information about the issues and ways for federation participants to provide input and feedback
